In this artist portrait we interview Berlinde De Bruyckere. From 2 March 2021, the Bonnefanten forms the backdrop for Engelenkeel (angel's throat), the latest exhibition by the internationally renowned artist Berlinde De Bruyckere (Ghent, 1964). In the exhibition Engelenkeel, curated by Stijn Huijts, the emphasis is on the period 2014 to the present. It includes work never shown before, created during the corona crisis, for which she entered into an artistic dialogue with the Belgian author Erwin Mortier.
